Ludacris recently talked about his upcoming “Battle Of The Sexes” album and how the lead single “How Low,” has almost reached platinum status with digital downloads. Talking about his upcoming album, Ludacris says he has been inspired to make anthem-like songs. “Athletes get motivated by songs sometimes,” he said in an interview. “That’s part of our motivation to make sure we get everybody else motivated. When we get in the studio, we want to make songs that are gonna play at such things as the All-Star game or the Super Bowl. That’s my motivation.”

Luda continued, “I’m feeling extremely excited. We pushed it up a week, due to the anticipation. I’m feeling real good about it. We’re almost platinum on the digital download singles. Thanks to everybody for buying that ‘How Low.’ Remixes, more singles to come. It’s going down.”

Rihanna Plans To Go “Hard’ In New Video

Rihanna was looking to add some swagger to her new “Rated R” album and it looks like she found it. “Funny enough, when I first heard the song, we were in Paris — they flew out there to play me some songs they had done for me, some ideas. And before they played ‘Hard,’ they were like, ‘We’re gonna play you the ghetto one first, and you have to do it, you have to do it,” Rihannalaughed. “They thought I wouldn’t like it, and when I heard it, I just loved it. It had such an attitude and a swagger … super cocky, and just a fun song. We just thought it was the perfect song for Jeezy [to do a verse on]. It was made for him to collaborate on it. And I think he did an amazing job.

“Hard” will now be the third single from Rihanna’s “Rated R” album and the singer recently visited Los Angeles where she shot the video for the song with director Melina Matsoukas. The theme basically being an over-the-top military exercise, only with a decidedly Rihanna touch. “It’s couture military,” Rihanna explained. “Everything is surrounded around the idea of something military. We have tanks, we have troops, we’ve got helicopters, we’ve got explosions. We’ve got lots of cute outfits, lots of bullets. It’s crazy.

Pusha T and Malice, better known to the rap and music industry as the hit group The Clipse, recently sat down to talk about their clothing brand on it’s one-year anniversary. The Virgina rappers first spoke on how exactly the clothing company got started. “It started with the We Got It 4 Cheap mixtape series, we started doing the shows, and the kids, not only did they know the words to the mixtape, but they were also just like yo he has on the Bathing Ape General Jacket, and that was just sort of before we were on the blogs, and I’m like well damn how you know about that and what is it for real, because this is just a box that gets sent to my crib.

50 Says Everyone Will Identify With His New Single

If there is one thing we all have in common, it’s breaking up with someone and 50 Cent is counting on it. The next single from 50’s upcoming “Before I Self Destruct” album is “Do You Think About Me,” and 50 says “So many people are gonna I.D. with it.” Calling the track his favorite from his new album, 50 added “the 55 percent of people that have been married and divorced are gonna identify.

“I was writing about the difference of how it felt when it was only about money once it got down to me dealing with the child-support situation,” he continued. “The friendship we had was forgotten. I believe people invest in each other and it’s never even when you’re in a relationship — one person is loving harder than the other. When the expectations aren’t being met, they kinda resent the other party. A lot of times they don’t go from being boyfriend and girlfriend or to getting engaged or being married back to being friends. They kinda gotta part ways from each other because one still has feelings and one is ready to move on.

Lil Wayne Say’s Drake’s New Album Is Done

Lil Wayne recently gave fans an update on the newly signed Young Money artist (and already a star) Drake. Weezy gave everyone a progress report on Drake’s debut “Thank Me Later” album, saying it’s basically ready to be released. “He’s one of those guys who needs no help, [laughs] I don’t do anything but say, ‘Let me hear that song,’” Wayne explained about Drake. “And I’m blown away with every word. I’m honored to have him. Knowing Drake, I want to say he’s probably finished with the project. But he’s one of those guys who keeps going back to put more icing on the cake.”

Weezy did also quickly touch on the delayed Hot Boys reunion with Juvenile, B.G. and Turk. “I still agree with [the reunion] — let’s put it like that. There are four sides to this, and it’s hard getting four sides to come to the table. But I still agree.” Juvenile recently put out his new “Gotta Get It” video from his upcoming “Cocky & Confident” album which hits stores on December 1st whil B.G. was recently arrested on felony gun charges.

In related news, on November 6th during a birthday party for J Prince in Houston. Texas,Drake performed with local Legend Bun B. After their performance, Drake kicked a quick verse from his upcoming debut “Thank Me Later” album. We get this is a long ass video so make sure you fast forward to the right part of the video.
