Move and Edit Youtube Videos using iPhone 3GS Camera Roll

The following tutorial will enable you to move your downloaded Youtube videos on your iPhone to the camera roll app. This will give you complete video editing capabilities of iPhone 3GS with which you can trim and share your downloaded videos on your iPhone, and then sync them with your PC or Mac. Step 1: You will first need to jailbreak your iPhone or iPod touch to get this to work.

Step 2: There are tons of apps available on the iPhone for downloading Youtube videos.

Step 3: You will now have to install SBSettings and Video Mover app from Cydia. SBSettings can be found in BigBoss repo, while Video Mover app can be found in http://apt.macosmovil.com repository.

Step 4: Now simply start SBSettings by swiping on the status bar on the top and enable “Video Mover” as shown in screenshot below.

That’s it! Now go to your Camera Roll in Photos app and you should now have all the downloaded Youtube videos in your Camera Roll. You can now trim the videos, share them with your friends via email, and can sync them with your PC or Mac.

ShutterBuddy Attacks Baby Photo ADD Issue with Simplicity

Babies, while cute, can turn ugly at family picture time. Look! A bit of floating dander. Picture ruined. Any little thing can become a distraction. Enter the ingenious—and head-smackingly simple—ShutterBuddy.

While not entirely scientific, the pattern supposedly grabs a baby’s attention and holds it long enough to get a decent photo. ShutterBuddy’s PR team managed to cook up this gem: “The ShutterBuddy™ is a revolutionary new product that uses the science of infant vision development and pattern recognition to capture and hold a baby’s attention so that you can get a great picture.” Making your kid smile on command is another story, but I’ve heard things that squeak or jingle sometimes do the trick.

At $20, the ShutterBuddy is cheapish. Could be worth a look if you’ve got a bunch of holiday greeting cards to send out this year. Oh, and a baby.

Ricoh GXR, Smallest Camera With Interchangable Lenses and Sensors, Coming In December [Cameras]

Seems that the previously rumored Ricoh GXR will be coming in December. It’ll be smaller than even the slimmest micro four thirds out now and feature a system that’ll make it the first to allow both interchangeable lenses and sensors.

The GXR body will go for about $700, the macro lens and sensor for about $1,000, and the zoom lens and sensor for about $500. If the system works as well as the video implies, we might have some rather fantastic cameras ahead of us.

Rumor: Mirrorless Ricoh Camera, Interchangeable Lenses Coming November 10

From the aptly named Photo Rumors blog comes word today that Ricoh is all but ready to reveal a premium, mirror-less camera on or about November 10.

Multiple sources hint that the camera will be a number of things, including “premium,” “compact” and that it will feature at least two interchangeable lenses at launch, possibly in December.
