has reportedly been kicked off of his slot on Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball tour. Cudi, who was supposed to open for the pop singer, was dropped after punching an audience member during one of his performances in Vancouver last week, according to TMZ.com.
Cudi’s people, however, are telling a different story. According a statement made by them, “Kid Cudi has decided to take an early leave of absence from Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball tour in order to balance his schedule surrounding the recording of his next album and acting commitments. Cudi does not want to disappoint his fans and will move forward with his individual show dates in December and throughout the month of January.”
Kid Cudi will be replaced by Jason Derulo, whose single “Whatcha Say” has had huge success on the radio as well as Youtube.
Rapper Pitbull has also had a lot of success on Youtube, earning the most watched music video of the year, according to the website. His video “I Know You Want Me,” acheived 82+ million views this year, beating out Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the U.S.A.,” Keri Hilson’s “Knock You Down,” and The Lonely Island’s “I’m On a Boat” featuring T-Pain.
Others who made the list were Susan Boyle’s Britain’s Got Talent performance with 120+ million views, and the New Moon trailer with 31+ million views.
